I just wrote a spec for the 2012 olympic media centre - how do the finances stack up when every single person watching will also be video broadcasting to their blog? And who will fund premiership footbal then? interesting times...

On a visit to Malaysia - to chair and address an e-assessment conference. I'm struck as always in the region by the passion for learning, the embracing of phones and mobile technology, the interest. I tell of eVIVA and other radical assessment projects. Everyone listens. And start to plan how to progress. Fab.

Oh dear. Driven by a need to move all the sails, tools (and rum!) needed for a 40' raceboat I have had to buy a white van - the UK's most hated vehicle type. But I have to admit - it's quite fun to drive around! I need a manual of white-van-driver phrases though. "'allo dahlin" doesn't seem enough somehow.
